Welcome
After yet another disappointing consumer experience, I've decided to start this blog chronicling the Worst of Budapest businesses. I don't know how much good it will do, but perhaps it will allow me to keep my sanity and avoid becoming an alcoholic like many of Hungary's denizens.
So, instead of heading down to my neighborhood kocsma and doing damage to my liver, I hope to do some damage to the bottomlines of the scumbag companies and organizations that rip-off the Budapest consumer.
I'd like to credit to Erik D'Amato of Pestiside who created the original Worst of Budapest. I hope that you don't mind me uhmm... "borrowing" the name.
Please feel free to contribute your own horror stories.

bio food home delivery cpies
I'll elaborate on the last one some time this week!

That last one sounds like a bad experience I had in the Sunnyside Cafe (can't remember if the name is in Hungarian or English) just of Jokai Square. Virtually the only seasoning was garlic, stodgy pastry and various cold rice assortments. Just makes you long for zsiros kenyer ('lard bread' - ummh... retch).
This is just going to get ugly. At least we didn't start it.

Appreciate the input. Let me get back to you later on, as I'm dealing with my own customer service problem (see above) at the moment.
Good idea if used with care!
Congrats,

PS. IMHO to force commenters to sign in or up with Blogger, is not a hilarious idea!

Dezso,
I decided on this, because otherwise it would be far too easy to "slag off" on any given business in Bp. (even though a bunch of them probably deserve it).
I might change this in the future, especially if I get more feedback.
Thanks for posting.
